Safe Flying requires good initial pilot training but just as important is keeping your skills sharp which requires frequent use of those skills. Two hours of flying monthly is considered a bare minimum for a private pilot to remain current and confident. In reality that sometimes doesn't happen due to today's busy lifestyles so if you've been away from flying for a few months or a few years we can get the rust brushed off and you back in the swing of things!
Piloting an aircraft of over 200 HP or one with a retractable landing
gear requires additional training with an instructor in such
an aircraft and a logbook entry. We have a high-performance/complex
aircraft available and can prepare you for your transition to
the fast lane!
We conduct periodic Pilot Ground Schools
aimed at the new student pilot. If you're an inactive pilot and have
been away from flying for a long period, you also may want to consider
attending one of our Schools. We'll refresh you on the
basics and bring you up to date on things like airspace, temporary
flight restrictions and modern avionics
plus other things that
may have changed. It all enhances the fun of flying by making you
a much safer and confident pilot. Call us for class scheduling information.
